First Time at Zetteria: Thoughts on the Teriyaki Beef Burger and Chocolate Shake
I heard that the burger chain Lotteria is gradually being rebranded as Zetteria, so I decided to check it out for myself.
Since I went on a weekday afternoon, the restaurant wasn’t very crowded. The atmosphere felt calm and familiar—quite similar to Lotteria’s original vibe.
This time, I ordered the teriyaki beef burger set, along with a chocolate shake, a three-piece serving of fried chicken, and—just because—a macaron.
Like many chain restaurants these days, they use self-service kiosks where you select your items and pay before waiting for your food. Compared to ordering face-to-face with a staff member, you’re exposed to so much more information on the screen. Because you can take your time browsing, it’s dangerously easy to end up buying things you hadn’t planned on ordering.
I couldn’t really tell how big the burger would be, and while debating whether to get a set, I noticed macarons on the dessert menu. Since macarons can be either amazing or disappointing, my curiosity got the better of me.
Yes… that’s my excuse（笑）.
Before picking up my food, I asked a staff member if it was okay to take photos for my blog. They replied, “As long as other customers aren’t in the shot, that’s fine.”
Many places simply say “Sure,” but I appreciated how they were considerate of other customers as well.
I started with the chocolate shake. It was thick, rich, and satisfyingly cold. Since it was the day after a snowfall, I quickly reached for the warm burger.
The burger itself was a bit smaller than I expected. Still, as I took my first bite, I felt relieved that I’d ordered the set. The flavor was bold and well-balanced.
It wasn’t as heavy as Burger King, but it had a pleasant saltiness, and the meat had a great texture. The bun was soft yet sturdy, and the overall flavor was simple and not at all tiring. Rather than typical junk food, it felt more like a well-composed sandwich striking a slightly “junk-style” pose. There was something refined about it.
I finished it in no time and found myself thinking, “I could eat this pretty often.” When I tasted the sauce on its own, it was surprisingly light. That really highlighted how flavorful the patty itself was. I was genuinely impressed.
Taking sips of the rich shake in between, I moved on to the fried chicken—more like nuggets, really. They were surprisingly hot when I picked them up. One bite produced an audible crunch, crunch. They were so crispy that for a second, I wondered if they were made with pastry dough.
Is this really junk food? They were insanely good.
Finally, the macaron. It had a dense, chewy texture that felt very satisfying. I also liked that it was individually wrapped—a nice touch.

ゼッテリア初体験｜てりやきビーフバーガーとショコラシェーキの感想
バーガーチェーンのロッテリアが、順次ゼッテリアに変わっていくと聞いて、さっそく食べに行ってきました。
平日の昼間だったからか、店内はそれほど混んでおらず、ロッテリアに似た落ち着きのある雰囲気。
今回食べたのは、てりやきビーフバーガーセット。
ショコラシェーキと3個入りの唐揚げ、ついでにマカロンを1つ注文しました。
最近のチェーン店はどこもそうですが、セルフレジが導入されていて、自分でメニューを選び、会計を済ませてから商品を待つスタイル。この形式、店員さんと対面で注文するよりも目に入る情報量が多いし、ゆっくり選べてしまう分、最初は予定していなかった商品まで「ついで買い」してしまいますよね。
ハンバーガーのサイズ感が分からず、「セットにしようかな」と思っていたところ、デザートメニューにマカロンを発見。
マカロンって当たり外れがあるから、つい気になって買ってしまいました。
……はい、これは完全に言い訳です（笑）
商品を受け取る前に「ブログに載せてもいいですか？」と店員さんに聞いたところ、
「他のお客様が映り込まなければ大丈夫ですよ」とのこと。
「いいですよ」と言ってくれるお店が多い中で、他のお客様への配慮も忘れない姿勢、好印象でした。
まずはショコラシェーキから。
もったりとしていて、とても濃厚。もちろんひんやりしています。
雪が降った翌日だったので、慌てて温かいハンバーガーに手を伸ばしました。
バーガーは思っていたよりも小ぶりなサイズ感。
「これはセットにして正解だったな」と思いながら一口。
味はとてもしっかりしています。
バーガーキングほどこってりではないものの、ほどよい塩味があり、肉の食感も良い。
ふんわりしつつも存在感のあるバンズに、シンプルで飽きのこない味わい。
いわゆるジャンクフードというより、「ちょっとジャンクっぽいポーズを決めたサンドイッチ」という印象で、どこか上品さがあります。
あっという間に食べ終えて、「これは頻繁に食べたいな…」と思いながらソースを舐めてみると、意外とさっぱり。
パティの味がしっかりしているからこそのバランスですね。
感動。
濃厚なシェーキを挟みつつ、次に食べたのは唐揚げ……というか、ほぼナゲット。
手に取ると熱々でびっくり。
噛むと「サクッ、サクッ」と音がするほどのサクサク感で、一瞬パイ生地かと思うほど。
これ、本当にジャンクフード？と思うくらい激うまでした。
最後はマカロン。
ねっとりとした食感で満足感があります。
個別包装されているのも好印象。
